WHO ARE DRWHEROTOG?
PHOTOGRAPHER | VIDEOGRAPHER | VIDEO EDITOR
My name is James. I’m a Hobbyist content creator from Cheshire in the UK.
I got my start in this field of work like a fair amount of new creators did, through the influence of the internet and rising social Media. My first taste was back in 2006 when I discovered the ability to do basic video editing on Windows Movie Maker (not the software to begin with, but we all have to start somewhere, right?). After a brief time at the University of Chester in 2011, I gained a basic knowledge of the Modern Photography workflow, but it wasn’t until 2015 that I eventually placed my foot firmly into the hobby alongside my new Moniker, Dr Whero Photography (which has now evolved and retracted to what you know me by now).
I’ve been a huge fan of most things Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and Anime from a young age and it’s helped to influence my creative endeavors as I’ve grown and developed within the Cosplay and Convention scenes.
I’ve worked with a multitude of different creators through Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Youtube, and Twitch through my various Photo and Video works.

BRAND MANAGER | PHOTOGRAPHER
Hey! I’m Beth (or Luolin Cos), an on-and-off Cosplayer and Aspiring Photographer from Birmingham. Also, James’s Filming Assistant for his wonderful CMV’s.
I began cosplaying back in 2013, at the age of 15. For many years since it was a huge part of my life. Led me to travel all around the UK (even sometimes outside of it) for conventions, meet an array of new people, and gain a passion for creating my own costumes. In 2015, the same year I met James, I started to teach myself basic sewing. I spent almost every day learning new techniques and challenging myself to more difficult builds. Fast forward a few years from then, I’d completed a college course in tailoring and I was frequently entering competitions with my creations. Managing to win some hard-earned prizes that I’m still very proud of to this day. All of that, however, was not without its own stresses. Eventually, I made the decision to take a much-needed break from it all as a whole.
As of 2022, I’ve been on a 2-year hiatus from the Cosplay community. In my time away from it, I had a lot of time to think about what I really wanted to do once I come back. Now as events begin to open up again, I’ve decided to focus on my passion and motivation for creating Cosplay-related content- in the form of Photography & Videography. Something I never truly got to explore in my time as a devoted cosplayer but had always wanted to.
I’ve joined up with James to make up the team ‘Dr Whero Tog’ in order to both help out in his creative endeavors of the cosplay world, as well as begin my journey of learning and expanding my creative skills. Together we are a dedicated team who hope you all enjoy what we bring to you in our coming years.
